A Warm Welcome to Dorothy Gardner!

Dorothy Gardner is a popular, inclusive and welcoming community nursery school with a strong reputation within the local authority and community. We get to know our families really well, often over many years as siblings and sometimes even generations come back to us!

Values

We asked our educators, parents and students what they think our values are as a school. As a result we have these three words that represent us, and our community.

Respect

We create a secure environment of trusting relationships, in which our children learn to value themselves, others, and the world around them, and are treated with kindness and empathy.

Grow

Our children embrace ‘growth’, developing resilience, a love for learning and exploration in nature and the world around, and the confidence to overcome challenges, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Unique

We want children to develop creativity and celebrate their individuality, recognising their unique qualities and strengths, and to feel confident in expressing who they are while respecting the uniqueness of others.
